Tinamarie | Plainfield IL Custom Senior Photography

Stunning doesn’t even begin to describe this young lady. I don’t remember me or any of my friends looking this amazing as we started our senior year of high school. Tinamarie was so much fun to work with. She has such a fun and outgoing personality and it shows in these photos.

Great weather always helps too, and it was a perfect day.

I love seeing the outfits my clients choose… I can only imagine how much fun it is to shop! My senior portraits were taken inside of a huge warehouse like portrait studio with about 40 other seniors from all over the area. It was very methodical, and not very fun. I wish there were more photographers that do what I do back then. It wouldn’t have helped keep me from being a victim of early 90′s fashion, but it bet it would have been a lot more fun!

Kathryn | Plainfield North High School Senior Photography

I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful young lady a few weeks ago. She’s going to be a senior at Plainfield North High School this year. She is the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet, honestly. She is so respectful… she even calls me “Miss Julie”! Finding a teenager that respects an adult like that is like finding a needle in a haystack these days.

We had so much fun at her session. We moved around a lot so we got to shoot at a few different locations that evening. My favorite images are from the barn we were at just before sunset. I’m trying not to overuse my new favorite location, but it’s hard not too when everyone looks so darn good there!

If you know a high school senior in the Plainfield IL, area I would truly appreciate your referral! I love working with teens and get so excited for them as they set foot into the next chapter in their lives. There is something about the memories that are made at this threshold in life. Matt and Mark

My oldest son Mark and my nephew Matthew were both promoted from 8th grade this May. I dragged them both out to my favorite abandoned location… I love it when I’m looking for a little urban grunge! My sister, and brother-in-law, live withing bike-riding distance,so the boys… who are only 6 months apart, go to the same school too! They graduated from Aux Sable Middle School this year.

It’s nearly impossible to photograph your own kids. I’m just saying that because Mark was acting up the entire time… and maybe other photog’s can relate?!

Anyway, we were heading off a impending storm that day, and it started to mist up during our session, but I’m so glad that I was the one that got to capture them both as they started high school!

I love to photograph teenagers, both 8th grade and Seniors! Custom Senior photography is a great alternative to the traditional high school Senior portraits, Custom Senior sessions offer so much more personality to the photos. Call me at 630-673-6233 for availability and pricing!

Ashley and Hunter | Plainfield IL Senior Portraits

Ashley graduates high school in just a few short weeks, and Hunter will be taking her place in school as a freshman next year. Hunter is a classmate of my oldest son Mark. It’s hard to believe they are getting older, but with these giant milestones like graduation… it’s hard to ignore. Ashley has a passion for photography as well, and we chatted about it during their session.

Can I just tell you, I love photographing teenagers. If I had to pick a favorite type of session, I think senior photography is it for me. I just love the excitement about hearing all the big things these kids are getting ready to do. I remember being 17 and 18 and thinking about all the possibility that I had laid out in front of me. And I remember the excitement of my friends as they headed off to college for the fall after celebrating the “best summer of our lives.” I, however, never went away to school. I was too much of a homebody. Instead I went to trade school and got my cosmetology license, and made a ton of cash doing haircuts in the dorm rooms while I visited my friends at school! I’ve thought about going back to school when the kids are all in school for nursing, or to become a medical assistant, but I would probably make my husband crazy… I’m already a Realtor, a hairstylist, and a photographer.

Ashley and Hunter were so much fun to photograph. They are SOoooo nice to each other. I say this in utter amazement because nice is hard to come by when it comes to siblings, and these guys gave me hope that my own brood may actually get along someday! It was also and EXTREMELY windy day. Like really, really, windy, which for Plainfield really isn’t anything new, but it’s hard to contend with when you are trying to shoot a photo session outdoors.

This photo session started at Settlers Park in Plainfield and ended a few blocks away in downtown Plainfield. I just love all the urban metal staircases, brick walls, brightly colored doors, and stone stairways to pose in front of. It’s so much fun to photograph in that area.

Do you want to get your senior pictures for free this year? How about having the cutest senior pictures to hand out to family and friends before you head off to college?

Then don’t miss out, apply now! Just click HERE. My Senior Ambassadors will be chosen by May 1st, 2013 and will be notified by phone.

I am looking for 1-2 local high school students from the class of 2013 in each of the 4 Plainfield high schools in District 202. You must be energetic, friendly, and willing to hand out rep cards to all of your friends, and tell them why they just have to have me take their pictures!

In return, I will make you look fabulous and supply you with 50 rep cards (more as needed) printed with photos of beautiful ‘ol you (and my studio information). You will earn credit toward your prints and/or receiving your digital images on disc.

You will get a $10 credit for every friend that turns in your rep card at the end of their session with me throughout your time as my ambassador! Once I’ve collected 15 rep cards from booked sessions, your family will receive the high resolution digital images on disc. After the initial 15 new seniors that turn in their rep cards to me, your ambassador credit doubles to $20 toward print order that you can use toward wallets or gallery prints at the end of April 2013.

As another special way of saying THANK YOU, you will also be treated to a fun mini-session with up to 4 of your closest friends toward the end of summer so you can take the memories with you as you get ready to leave for college. You will also get 3 mini-slim accordion albums, as a special gift from me! I know how exciting this year is going to be for you, and I want to make sure you never forget your senior year!
